    Good Portable radio.

    I bought the radio from a retailer a few days ago for 549/- (MRP) of the product. The radio is alright. It has AM/FM tuner and a 3V DC socket. Speaker is also not bad. Dont expect very good sound quality, its okay for a mono speaker. The only drawback that I found was the voice distortion when radio is used with DC adapter. It distorts so much that some stations are not audible at all. If I run it on battery, all stations work fine and reception is good. I guess it could be due to a poor qual...

    Plus points :
    Good Product. Sound is good. Flipkart gives you good value for your money.It costs less than the market price on Flipkart plus Home Delivery is free. What else would one want?

    Minus Points :
    3V DC Adapter or 2 D cell i.e. IEC R20 size battery is Required.
    ( recurring cost ) not like other Philips radio which has a built in battery.

    Good Things in Life come in small packages.... from Flipkart

    I bought this radio for my mother and she loved every bit of it. It immediately brought the nostalgia of good old days when a similar radio used to accompany her in the Kitchen and mere sound of the music would reassure me that mother is cooking something delicious!!!

    Today's inbuilt radio of our cell phones don't give you that feel.
