Good book if you want to LEARN Physics. Very lucid and good explanation of theory . Concepts are clearly stated with good examples. A good self-study book.For the extra JEE Advanced material read Arihant Understanding Physics after reading this or University Physics(by Sears Zemansky). Just reading Arihant won't give you full conceptual understanding. After completing end of chapter problems you can refer to S.S.Krotov book for more.But only after you have completed ALL the problems!

GOOD FOR +2 LEVEL(11th-12th) SCIENCE. THOUGH ALL DERIVATIONS ARE NOT GIVEN. STARTS FROM VERY BASICs. EXPLAINATIONS OF CONCEPTS IS GOOD WITH SOME GOOD PROBLEMS.
