Pokemon X (for PS Vita)

Pokemon started out as a cute cartoon series for kids to enjoy and pass their time. The game version of the series has been developed by Game Freak and is the first installment in the 6th generation of the Pokemon series as seen on television and gaming media. The game is also one of the first to be rendered completely in Polygonal 3D. The standard edition of the game comes with a PEGI rating of 7.

The title supports an extensive single player campaign as well as a highly engaging multiplayer mode. The role playing game uses Pokemon characters that can be controlled by the player to carry out the game objectives. There are plenty of adventure elements in the game that is presented in a third person perspective. You primarily control a young Pokemon trainer who needs to catch a few Pokemon characters. After catching them, you need to train them to win battles against other trainers. After you defeat your opponents in turn based battles the Pokemon gain experience and can then level up.

Some of the new features found in the current Pokemon titles are the polygonal 3D settings, more interactivity with the overworld and more dynamic action during the Pokemon battles.
