Poovizhi Vasalile  (DVD Tamil)

Satyaraj and Karthika as the lead actors in a tamil remake of a Malyalam movie, director Fazil managed to receive positive responses from the audience and the deserved critical applause for the movie Poovizhi Vasalile released in 1987. The movie was written and directed by Fazil, with Illayaraja scoring the background music.

An enthralling thriller, Poovizhi Vasalile runs through the story of a deaf and mute kid identifying his mother’s killers. Jeeva an alcoholic in the movie adopts this orphan kid, and in the course of the movie he is arrested by the police assuming he had kidnapped the kid. Raghuvaran and Babu Antony play a negative role in the movie, characterizing the murderers. Chase, fight, suspense and killings suppress as the thrilling factors to the movie. The end of the movie is worth watching.

The movie was a commercial success at the box office for excellent acting by the actors, well-furnished direction and balanced soundtrack.
