About Alvin Toffler

Alvin Toffler is a writer and futurist who is well-known for his works that discuss digital revolution, communication revolution, and technological singularity. He is a former editor of the famous Fortune Magazine. Earlier, his works focused on technology and its impacts which include information overload. In time, he examined the reaction to changes in society, and his focus moved on to the increasing power of the 21st century military hardware, production of new technologies, and capitalism. He is the founder of Toffler Associates, which is a management consulting company, and went as a visiting scholar to the Russell Sage Foundation. He has also been a visiting professor at Cornell University, a faculty member at the New School for Social Research, a White House correspondent, editor with Fortune Magazine, and a business consultant.
