Alpha Base
This cooker's entire bottom has an aluminium steel sandwich base which helps save energy and time. What's more, it can be used on both induction stoves and cooktops.
Body
Crafted from aluminium and featuring an attractive apple shape, this pressure cooker not only cooks food well but it's also an addition to your kitchen.
Outer Lid
This outer lid pressure cooker works well while using separators and idli stands.
Precision Weight Valve
To ensure durability, this pressure cooker comes with a stainless steel weight valve. It releases pressure above 1kg/cm2, which helps save time and make cooking safe.
Metallic Safety Plug

I bought this Steel Pressure Cooker from Prestige Brand because of my mom's recommendation and surprisingly its good and the method of using this cooker is quite different than other pressure cookers which I liked it.
Water should be used in limited quantity and oil is must and the food gets cooked in less than 10 whistles ( yes slightly more count than the regular aluminium ones)

1. Pros: i) Design, look and MOC used for product is heavy steel which is really good for cooking on both Gas & Induction.
ii) Over all make and design gives premium look.
iii) Bottom is thick enough. Fast and even heating.
2. Cons: i) Pressure cooker's main use is to cook food e.g. rice, lentils, vegetables fast because cooking happens under pressure and closed manner which saves time...

Q:Is it 100% stainless steel even on the inside and bottom?
Can we use it on high flame on gas?
What is the thickness of the bottom?
A:The bottom is sandwich bottom which has 3 layers SS-Aluminum-SS so that aluminum will not contact with food. Don’t use any stainless steel utensils on high flame as it creates oil stains.
