Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is a single-player third-person action-adventure fantasy PC game that’s rated 12 by PEGI. Narrated by the protagonist himself, the storyline of this game follows King Sharaman and his son who, with the aid of a vizier of an Indian maharaja, conquer an Indian city. When the prince discovers the fabled Sands of Time contained within an hourglass and the Dagger of Time he decides to present the dagger to his father despite the Vizier's want for it. Feeling betrayed, the Vizier tricks the prince into unleashing the Sands of Time by making him use the dagger. The athletic and acrobatic prince must now correct everything that went wrong by wandering through a palace that is filled with perils and dreadful monsters.

The gameplay sees you playing the prince and facing dangerous sand creatures and much more! From climbing or descending chasms by ricocheting off walls, running across surfaces in a horizontal fashion, avoiding traps, executing perfectly timed leaps, using various objects so you can progress to solving complex puzzles, this game has it all. You have to use your athleticism and combat skills in unison to defeat the many creatures that you are confronted by. Another fascinating ability that you are granted is the use of the Sands of Time that are contained within the dagger. For example, if you were to be killed for some reason, you could rewind time a little bit by using the sand that you have.
