| Author Info | - Dr. Basant Kumar Sinha, Retd. University Professor & Head, Department of Microbiology, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, Bihar, India obtained his M.Sc.(Microbiology), and Ph. D degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana respectively. He has 45 years of teaching and Research experience in Microbiology both at UG and PG level and acted as a Major and Minor advisor for several postgraduate students. His teaching is highly appreciated by students. He has also brilliant carrier in research and handled several research projects funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), National Agricultural Technology project (NATP), New Delhi and WHO (Geneva). He has published more than 110 research papers in different National and International journal of repute, such as Toxin Rev. (USA), Mykosen and Zentrablatt fur Microbiolol (Germany), Vet Record (London) etc. He has been honoured with several prestigious awards, such as “Hamdard National Foundation award” for his best research paper in Immunology, “Academic Promotion award” for his distinguished services by Rajendra Agricultural University, Bihar. On several occasions he has been honoured for his best services in microbiology by different agencies. He has already published FOUR books i.e. on Immunology and Animal Cell Culture published by International Book Distribution Co., Lucknow, UP, India and Animal Cell Biotechnology and Principle of Defense Mechanism of Body by Narendra Publishing House, Delhi.
At present he is acting as visiting faculty in different colleges of Bihar and Jharkhand and Medical institute and used to teach Microbiology and Biotechnology.
Dr. Rinesh Kumar is a doctorate in Veterinary Parasitology from Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, Bareilley, UP, India. He is a university Gold Medalist in M.V.Sc. He has published several research papers in different National and International journal of repute. He has submitted more than 25 gene sequence in NCBI. He was collaborating scientist of NATP Project. His flair for wide ranging reading and research resulted in his contributing many chapters in book and popular writing on scientific and current issues in newspapers. He is Co-author of book entitled Principles of Animal Cell Culture: Students Compendium and “Principles of Defense Mechanism of body” .At present he is working Professor and Head, Department of Parasitology, College of Vety. Sci. & A.H., Rewa (M.P), India.
