    About the Authors

    Michael W. Passer organizes the Introductory Psychology Program at the University of Washington. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Rochester and obtained his PhD in social psychology from the UCLA. He has been a faculty at the University of Washington since the year 1977. A past Danforth Foundation Fellow and U.W. Distinguished Teaching Award finalist, Dr. Passer has had a career-long affection of teaching. He has developed and offers a graduate programme on Teaching of Psychology annually, which helps students in preparing for their careers while in college. Dr. Passer has published over 20 scientific articles, mainly in the areas of his expertise like attribution, anxiety and stress.

    Ronald E. Smith is the Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington, where he has previously worked as the Director of Clinical Psychology Training. He was also the Head of the Social Psychology and Personality field there. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Marquette University, and obtained his PhD from the Southern Illinois University. Dr. Smith has been associated as a professor at the esteemed Purdue University and at Washington. He also has frequent visiting appointments at the Marquette University, the University of Hawaii, the UCLA and the University of New Mexico. Dr. Smith’s chief research interests lies in personality, stress and coping, performance enhancement research and intervention. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a Past President of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology. Ronald E. Smith has published over a 100 scientific articles in his areas of expertise and has authored several books on the same.

    Decent product

    They sent me a black and white copy. Clearly, a colour copy would have been a 10X better reading experience. Content is good. Indian context is nowhere to be found. All experiments and contexts are Western, mainly American.
