i have been using this purifier for the past 3 months & i am fully satisfied with the quality of the water dispensed.
the municipal supply water in our area is awful - yellow colored and i didnt have the courage to taste it :P
and with a student's budget, most of the other purifiers were out of range. so i went for HUL pureit compact and i must say i am fully satisfied with it.

Ideal for bachelors/single use
I have been using this purifier for over a month now. I have faced no problems and am satisfied with the product. There are two colours available ... blue and burgundy.
The water comes out very clean. Also, the complete package is very light and can be easily carried over to another place and reassembled. The complete replacement kit [filters and all] is easily available in the market for Rs. 350].

Satisfactory Result
I am using the Pureit since last 5 years. The water quality is really good. It works really good but after a certain time period you wil have to clean the filter otherwise the water purification happens very slowly. HUL has given the equipment to clean the dome shaped filter but they have not given any filter for cleaning the initial filter. It would cost you around 130 INR from the open market.
Over all I would say it is really good, portable water purifier.

Good and suitable for a small family
This purifier works good and the quality of purified water is fine. But not suitable for a family having more than 3/4 members as it can be filled only 5 litre in the top compartment. If the filter is filled again in the top compartment before the water in the purified bottom compartment is used completely, then the water will overflow and leak outside.

Small and economic
Before bought this water purifier, I was actually on the look out for the old fashioned shainless steel filter with candles inside which filter out most of the particles. Unfortunately, times have changed and it wasn't available anymore. So I settled for this. I have to say that this solved the purpose.

This is a good water purifier sufficient for 2-3 people & comes at a reasonable price. this water purifier is best in its quality of purifying water it is best use for 3 family members, takes 3 hours at the first time in installation, the then it filter 4-5 liters within 30 minutes.
