The author has done a good job of writing this novel. It is short but cleverly written taking into account real life events in the backdrop. We get a feel that it is a real story. At times you get the feel of watching episodes of English serial 24. A god start for a new writer.

At first I was a little apprehensive but it took me 5 pages to get into the groove. I am not a big fiction reader, but the cover intruiged me and set me reading. Being a cop and a first time writer, its honestly unbelievable that he could write like a Pro. the only positive in the book is that the reader gets an insight into the police world, the chain of command, etc.
the characterization and scene depictions non-existent.
the dialogues perfunctory and stereotypical.
the romance is college-level amateurish.

it is also funny unintentionally, especially the part where a leader threatens to nuke another nation :D
