My answer is, no. Smartphone market has almost reached a saturation point where there is no further need for better configuration or displays or other features. You dont have to think twice about buying this product. Its the fastest and the most powerful phone in the market right now with a fantastic battery for an android device. The only thing one needs to decide is if you want a phone of this size. For me the bigger the better.

My primary requirement was a big screen phone, screen size just enough, about 5.8 inches. To me that is the perfect size for a Phablet. At 5.5 inch this is a slight compromise, but I'll survive. I know there is a 5.9 inch Note 3 coming, but I can't wait that long.
Note 2 is a very good phone for people who have a requirement of a Phablet.
