I have hands on experience on S plus which I bought recently.
The device is cool!
Here are its pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Experience comparable to s2: You get all that S2 has expect no flash,no nfc support, 0.3 inches lesser sized screen (4 vs 4.3), lesser RAM and 3mp lesser cam(5 vs 8) . All this for 7-8k lesser price. So the phone features commensurate with its price!
2. Good touch sensitivity, loud enough speakers, better bright AMOLED display, 1.4Ghz processor, fast wifi, good battery, more ...

I have been using this phone for about two weeks and i am really impressed with it. It is one of the best smart phones available in the market. Battery back up is good enough considering its specifications and android interface.
It has excellent display and touch is a pleasure to use.
As far as its size is concerned, once you get used to this product I bet you won't feel that is big.

For all those who are having second thoughts, you will never regret buying this phone.

I was waiting for S to get launched in the market, prior to which i had seen its tech-specs. Theoretically I was quite impressed with the features of the phone. I'm using this phone since last 1month. Samsung specification says it has 512mb RAM however on the phone it shows 352MB only out of that always 190 is used.I checked with the customer care they say 200MB is used by graphics thats why it wont show in the status. The response is quick, I have not used Galaxy S, but the response and the battery backup are quite good. I could get through 48 hours on 3G network:

I purchased this Galaxy S phone recently (almost 10 days back) and I am pretty satisfied with its performance ... especially the AMOLED display. It is amazingly attractive. Moving out from Nokia 5230 to this phone is little challenging as I see some features in Nokia family are really good and are missing in this Galaxy phone like Profiles, Call log details (getting the list directly) and Bluetooth related options ... other than that this phone is really cute and extremely good one.
