Reasons for buying S2 instead of S2+

In the first instance both these devices look identical, but as always, devil lies in details.
S2+is available for Rs. 22900 and S2 is available for Rs. 24400 (after discount). Price difference between S2 and S2+ is only Rs. 1500.
For following reasons we should opt for paying Rs. 1500 more for S2.

(1) S2 has Corning gorilla Glass. Both these phones are great looking phones initially, but eventually scratches will ruin the beauty of S2+, which doesn't have Corning gorilla glass. Buying a pro...

Nice only if it is promised android limepie update

I read from samsung social websites, this model will be updated with 4.2.2 only and no limepie update will be provided. so samsung should consider limepie update for this model to make this a great buy.

Decent buy

To be frank this is a good update to S2 considering Samsung has used a new chipset and GPU unit compared against the S2. Also the battery is increased further. We know that one of the most problem with S2 is battery backup and hope Samsung would clearly attended it in this updated release.

This phone will be a good buy to those who liked S2 squarish design. I liked this phone and considering to buy it when the price slightly get reduced. Buying this phone for 20 to 21K would be good. Good t...

Seems like just another gimmick from Samsung...!

This one is named to cheat consumers. Everything 'good' from the original S2 is removed and they named the phone by adding a "+" to it.
Mostly everything crucial in making a good smartphone right from the internal memory to the processor have been downgraded. The original dual core which powered the S2 has been changed with the Broadcom made SoC that Samsung has used in the Galaxy Grand. The only thing Samsung has changed in the phone to make it better seems to be the software UI. The Grand ...

This review should have been for Samsung.

I am a proud owner of S2 i9100 which i bought 2 years back. It was my dream phone and still is.
Everybody knows the features so I am not going to bore you with those details.

S2+ the new one is a gimmick by Samsung with inferior chipset, inferior screen and a very optimistic pricing.
Why optimistic?
For starters what is the price of Xperia L? In Flipkart is 16399 and compare the specifications.

What is with Samsung's pricing. If they ...

Awesome phone but bit over priced

I'm using this cell since 2 months.. its an awesome phone.. it never lags.. great multi tasking with powerful speed... battery lasts for around 10 hours if continuous usage is done.. it consumes more bateery over wifi network.. but i all its a great phone with latest features.. But its a bit over priced because of Grand... people say grand is better than S2+... either they dont knowgrand's reviews or they are here with the target of down grading this phone.. grand is a big shit, always lags, ...

Certainly good

I am surprised to find more and more reviews which sound negative in general. After using the same device I found some reviews are just useless. For example, one review claims that S2+ doesn't support USB OTG. I personaly tested this with a normal cable purchased from ebay and used a generic USB keyboard and Transcend, Kingston & Emtec pen drives. These devices worked smoothly on my S2+ (purchased with Indian seal, not imported and rooted)

For any droid device check OTG support with good pos...

Great phone with rich display

I'm not going to write detailed review.. but would like to point out some plus points.
1) super amoled plus display
2) faster processing
3) camera just outstanding
4) its design and light weight
5) super fast gaming
6) never lags

some negatives are there:
1) poor battery back up
2) over priced

in all you should not thing much about this phone.. just go for it.. samsung rocks..
