I use this product but I have bought it from a local store instead from flipkart. It is a very good writer. Writes DVDs at good speeds. I had some old CDs and DVDs which were in bad condition, they had scratch marks all over them. My old drive had difficulty reading these, but this one did it without any effort. Very smooth and compact design. I would recommend it.

Been using the drive for 15 days now. Great product. A set of screws and SATA cable was included in the package, three cheers for that.
The product itself is good enough. Would have been better if it made a little less noise while reading/writing. but other than that five on five.
Flipkart service was excellent as always. In a day delivery worked like charm.

I bought this because my older DVD burner wasn't able to read discs anymore.
I haven't burnt any DVD's with this so far, but it's read 300-400 discs till now, without a problem. The transfer rates while copying files from DVD to HDD are pretty decent too.
The tray feels sturdier than those of the older DVD drives I own.
The only negative thing I can say about it is that it sounds like a jet engine when read and writing files.
I've had it about a month, and it's worked pretty well.

I ordered this product 4 days back and tough its saying delivery time of some days, I received mail on very next moment as well on my mobile about my purchase and to my my surprise,m they deliever it very next day informing me on mail as well on mobile. Earlier, I use ebay to buy things but now prefer Flipkart. no hidden charges as norm in online buying and quality service.

I am using it with ubuntu system. up to now i only tested with reading and i am happy with reading, i didn't test it for writing. I'll update my review when i complete it.

this is a good dvd writer comes with all the necessary software, sata cables, and screws but on my dvd writer package screws were missing though written in the pack content, the dvd writer is working and dosnt look been used but should provide all content of the pack and also this is the cheapest dvd writer available in flipkart

I have only used samsung optical drive from CD-ROM TO DVD-COMBO & now DVD WRITER.I recently purchase this from Flipkart & they deliver the shipment on next day.Lightening fast service from Flipkart.Now come back to product,I have make some dvds & 1 or 2 cds,it runs smoothly without any noice & fast too.You can go for it.
