Highly recommend it for PS3 Upgrade
I bought this after researching through alot of articles and youtube videos about PS3 hard drive upgrade. This is the right size and does not cause heating to damage my PS3. It runs silent too. I will highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good 1TB PS3 HDD. If you are a PSN Plus memeber you will quickly run out of space on your stock drive and have to start considering a HDD upgrade. When you do this drive should be on the top of the list.

PS3 replacement
I was looking for a HDD compatible with my 250 GB PS3. There was a lot of apprehension on the disk size and compatibility since the machine was made with technology of 2006 (or earlier) in mind. Luckily the disk is perfect to be installed in the PS3. I did it to both the slim and the super slim version of the system

Super... Works like a charm on my newly bought ps3 from flipkart it self. Just go for it but if you can find a SATA 2,5inch drive from seagate then u better get this coz this toy is also manufactured by seagate. So it just took me 5 min to install this in my empty PS3 Hdd slot with a mounting bracket.
Steps
1. Take your mounting bracket it will cost u around 300rs.
