Samsung Wave Y is an amazing phone. It's almost a clone of Galaxy Y but without the OS. Moreover I'm really not an android fanboy.

To begin with, The BADA OS is pretty decent. It's fast, hangs very rarely and is very responsive.

The 832 MHz processor is sufficient for multitasking.(But please, don't overuse the RAM, it will get really slow!)

The screen size is sufficient... although i had a bit problem with the keyboard initially, but now i'm used to it(however it has slowed down my chatti...

I bought this phone on 14 Feb 2012 and i must say i m truly satisfied by this phone...it awesome....the touchscreen works perfectly without any hindrance and smoothly (feather flow)....music player is good and sound quality is decent in loudspeaker and excellent in earphone with 5.1 surround sound capability....the two virtual buttons on the bottom to receive and end calls are highly sensitive to touch and a slight touch will do the work....the phone never hanged till now (touch wood) ....and...

For some1 lik me who wanted a smartphone frm his pocket money, At this price this phone is a gem.. the brilliant touch screen with brilliant response and the gr8 resolution which no other phone at this range provides, this one is stake higher than the other phones... the UI of the latest BADA v2.0 is eye-candy.. way improved than the prev versions of BADA, multitasking is a piece of cake in this.. with support for HTML5, u also get high speed browsing.. the screen size is also pretty gud enuf...

This phone is really worth the money.. Even though not android it gives u a decent OS with an android like UI. Well, Samsung has to come out with decent applications so that more users buy these phones!! Overall its a grt phone and to mention its headphones.. really Awsome!!
It doesnt have a secondary camera but the higher version, Wave M, i believe, has one!!!

I am using wave y since last 3 months. Its nice phone if we compare price v/s features.I do not think any branded phone can compete with its feature under 7K price range.
Many people have confusion for secondary front camera for wave y. Samsung has not mentioned any thing abount front camera but you can check yourself. Just dial *#0*# from your phone & can check your secondary camera.It is there. Check & be happy to have secondary camera. Perhaps it can be used for 3G calls through any approp...

Bought this phone from flipkart. got the product on the 2nd day itself. Great service from flipkart.

Coming to the phone, its a good phone with good wifi connectivity,good audio and nice display. Initially i thought of going for android phone but due to battery issues i went for this one. bada doesnt eat battery as much as android. this phone gives u good battery backup..

only disadvantage of this phone is lack of applications from bada. i hope bada would improve that very soon.

about the os, it is very similar to android but apps are on the low side.

overall the phone is truly worth the money.
