SAMSUNG WB150F Point & Shoot Camera  (White)

This Samsung point and shoot digital camera features an ultra-wide 24 mm Schneider KREUZNACH optical lens. This wide angle lens comes with a focal length of 4 – 72 mm or a 35 mm equivalent focal length of 24 – 432 mm with 18x optical zoom. This considerable optical zoom is complemented by a digital zoom capacity of 5x on still mode and an impressive 14.4x on the play mode.

Operating a very capable CCD Image Sensor, the WB150F comes with a striking 14.2 megapixel resolution to help you capture high quality images and videos. One of the most exciting features on this Samsung digital camera is the Wi-Fi connectivity. This built-in wireless data transfer capability lets you instantly share your files with other Wi-Fi devices, upload images and videos directly onto social networking sites or even directly email the files to your desired destination. Battery and Storage

Powered by a SLB-10A rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the WB150F uses either an SDSC, SDHC or SDXC memory card to store all the captured images and videos. These memory cards have an expandable memory of up to 2 GB (SDSC), 32 GB (SDHC) and 64 GB (SDXC) giving the WB150F a very expansive memory capacity. These saved files can easily be transferred by using the Wi-Fi connectivity or the high-speed USB 2.0 port. Apart from an AV out that transmits both PAL and NTSC signals, this camera uses its Wi-Fi capability to connect directly to a Wi-Fi enabled HDTV.

Performance

With an aperture control with a range of f/3.2 (W) – f/5.8 (T) and light sensitivity or ISO speed that ranges from ISO 80 to ISO 3200, the WB150F has the ability to capture clear and crisp images without being affected by the available light. This Samsung digital camera operates a wide variety of shutter speeds with the fastest of 1/2000 sec and the slowest at 16 sec.

The TTL or through the lens autofocus function on the WB150F has a range of 80 cm (Wide) and 350 cm (Tele) to infinity. This when combined with a macro range of 5cm (Wide) and 180 cm (Tele) gives you incredible depth of field to operate with. To assist you with macro and medium range photography, the camera also features a built-in flash unit which on auto ISO has a range of 0.3 m - 3.38 m (Wide) and 0.5 m - 1.51 m (Tele).

The camera has a video recording option that allows you to capture HD videos with 1280 x 720 resolution at 30 fps. The self-timer function gives the Samsung WB150F a 2 and 10 sec shutter release delay giving you the opportunity to catch those great group shots and self-portraits.
