Kapoorraj Sharma is a writer and poet. He was born in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh state. His father's name is Jageshwar Prasad Sharma and his mother's name is Kavita Sharma. He is a student of Zoology MSc Zoology. His tendency in poems, ghazals and writings had come from the days of school. He wrote his first poem "Hosh Ne Piya Madhoshi Ka Jam" at the age of just 13, which is present in this collection of poems and ghazals.
