No Nonsense HDD
Great service from Flipkart ! The disk was well packed with extra large bubble sheet in a cardboard box. It is an OEM pack, so no screws, data cable or power cable as mentioned. These will have to be procured in advance to install it.
I bought it as a replacement for my Hitachi HDD 500GB that was giving booting problems. Just install it in the HDD bay, connect the power and data cables and it is instantly recognized. I have used Seagate since 15+ years now, great products.

Its my luck that i received the product in good condition.

Great but Clicker.....
The hard disk is great and works as specified.
The packaging contains only the HDD.
Formated space is 932 gb.
Approximately 100 mbps Speed for both Read/Write can be achieved.
The HDD make a clicking noise when transferring files which scares us a we think it is damaged but it works perfectly fine.
Though better than WD.
My gaming rig with windows 7 rating:-
intel i5 3570k processor[7.6/7.9].
intel dz77sl-50k motherboard.
asus hd 7770 1gd5(non direct cu version)[7.6/7.9].
corsair gs600 smps.

hy frndss this is the most wonderful hard disk i ever seen it copy pendrive file of 10gb at 20mbps of constent speed it take only 4min for copying file in my pc and it is also soo silent hdd as compare to others hdd lyke wd 1tb black and one more thing i wana tell you frndsss don"t buy wd hard diskss it iss the worst and sukkkest hdd in the world and some ine for flipkart it is the world best online shop and i love its 30 day polyce and its lightning fast dlivery facilityss ..........!!!!!

Fast and smooth
Previously I used to own an old seagate 40 GB hard disc. But this HDD made my PC faster than ever, with its high speed 7200 RPM spin speed. Very good quality, but beware it doesn't come with the power adapter cable. That means you need to buy that separately.
All in all, this a very sophisticated and good HDD. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR PC GAMERS.

(ST31000524AS) - Great HDD, but a few niggles
A great performer, tons of space and very satisfactory speed (both read and write). The drive seems quite audible as it makes clicking sounds whenever I switch on the pc, but no problems until now. Product delivered to me on 27th December last year, working fine since then.....But would like to point out that on opening the box packaging the HDD was a bit dented on the corner where the power connector is plugged in, but I managed to fix it by pulling it back into place using a small screwdri...

One of the Best..!!
Am completely satisfied with my purchase and best product go for it guys..
I was using it for past two weeks and i was so happy with my purchase, The writing speed also kinda good they could have added the sata cable along with the HD but it doesnt matter after all it cost around 20rs.
