Seagate Solid State Hybrid Drive 9.5 mm thickness 1 TB Laptop Internal Hard Disk Drive (HDD) (ST1000LM014)  (Interface: SATA)

The drive worked very smooth for the last 3 months but it has started making this weird ticking sound which is really annoying. I feel the hard drive will fail very soon. I better backup and get it replaced with the warranty.

Update: Got it replaced 2 weeks ago (8 months since the above comment). The drive never failed despite the ticking noise. 3 weeks back I made enough space in my external HDD to back everything up, got this SSHD replaced. The new replacement drive is much faster now and ...

Pros:
The Boot Speed of the Hard Drive is really Great, well you won't get this on the first use but after a few shutdowns, may be 2-3.
The Performance is really great and it improved the overall Performance of my Old Laptop.

Cons:
1. Nothing as such, Just the Ticking sound of the Head Rotor, but it seems that it's designed that way.
2. Price could have been lower than INR 9,100/-

Ordered this SSHD. Shipped within 3 hours (during midnight!) and received it on the 2nd day. This is surprisingly fast. Packaging needs improvement though (This is Hard disk, not a plastic dabba :-)
