It's a perfect partner for your ipad. Could connect with ios and android devices with dedicated app. It also does have a connector cable that could connect to PC in USB 3.0 mode, that is like regular hard disks. Since I am an ipad user, my review mostly covers ios. Users might need to upgrade firmware first, especially if you are using ios7. Wireless does not work after some time
I received this product just now and my first impression is awesome..
However the price I paid to the product is too costly. 11k is too much for a Wifi enabled hard disk. If this would have come with 8k it would have been worth the money. Just 3k extra.
Nevertheless, a new technology under external hard disk category and worth the try.
I can connect this seagate hard disk to my phone... Thats plus for me as I need not store songs, videos in phone anymore, just carry the hard drive in my b...

Excellent Portable external HD for iOS and Android device
This external HD works very well with iPad and iPhone. I tried it with Android devices but it was lagging when tried to access this HD using Seagate Media App. I still have to find out if there are any other apps that can work well for Android device.s
There is one brilliant app on Apple Store - nPlayer. It plays all major movie files: MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WMV, ASF, FLV, OGV, RMVB, TP etc..
It's a paid app and only available on Apple Store.

I got my Seagate Wireless plus one day ahead of promised delivery date by Flipkart. An excellent device especially if you are travelling with your Smart phone/iPad/iPod. Outstanding product,u need an app like FX file manager,its paid version,or ES file explorer so that one can either stream,download,delete,also upload the content wirelessly. Dnt b surprised to know that u can upload as well with the above mentioned apps.dont use that scrap app of seagate its good for nothing.

good to buy from flip cart

shitty product from SEAGATE
Bought this product , which had standard fast delivery from Flipkart ... but the product didn't work as expected ... The connectivity is poor and will get disconnected if the video is more than 5 minutes of length... once it gets disconnected U have to wait for the entire battery to drain out before u can connect it again to ur wifi enabled device android/ios.. so complained and got it replaced ... thankfully its working fine after the replacement but still left a bitter experience of SEAGATE...

Good but requires improvement
This HD is as same as per given specifications. But it gets heated while in use and also comparing the cost of other HD, it seems too expensive. Otherwise it is good innovative product.
