Summary of the Book

At Easter, the Seven discover that their shed is in disarray. They look for a new place to meet, settling for a cave in the quarry on the farm owned by Peter's father. They set up the cave, and Colin decides to liven up the place with his collection of Famous Five books. However, when they return to the cave, they discover that some of their objects are missing. They suspect Susie, as always, but this makes her very upset. Her reaction forces them to realize that she isn't the thief. Who else could have gotten at Colin's collection? Can they find Colin’s missing books?
