Old Recipe with a new Taste
The book is an excelent book with a different approach than Neaman's which is very easily explained. I would recomend this book as a good reference book to the B L Andersson book and SZE and KWOK on Semiconductor Physics. The use of matlab in numerical problems is unique and teaches a lot.

Best in the market!
The title is apt. This book covers the fundamentals in semiconductor devices. This book is ideal for an undergrad and possibly as a reference to the basics by a grad student.
The book is sufficiently self explanatory and does not require an instructor to help you out to understand, especially with the world wide web at your disposal.
