    Wonderful

    Nice clarity. Bass is okay. CX 3.00 is smoother and sets up the bass more, is darker. Fun fact. This and the 275s with mic sound almost exactly the same. But those don't have L shaped jack. What's up with that Sennheiser.

    Pretty good

    This is my 3rd Sennheiser model. And as usual the performance is just AWESOME!!!!.
    The silicone eartips is not properly insulating the outside noise unlike in Sennheiser cx275S model. So I have replaced them with my Sony xb50ap eartips. Now the outside noise is decently insulated.
    Also it doesn't have mic.
    Good sound stage. Nice bass effect. Clear sound.

    Pretty good

    I've tried too many headphones, such as sony mdr-ex15ap,g45lp,zx110 & xb450 series,philips shp1900,shq1200,she3590,sho3300,jbl t250si,t100a and old one (forgot the model no and its cost was around 2000),mi(piston 3),audio technica clr100, sennheiser cx180 and lots of others.
    So after one day of use ill say this headphone(CX300ii) is the best to me till now.

    About its sound- look, if you are more of a music lover than a basshead then you just cant deny this headphone.

    A:Sennheiser doesn't bass boost that much. it's quite balanced. But tuning the Equalizer toh punchy bass or something is what I do and these don't lose much clarity when you do that.
