The set typically consists of a dozen or more bangles, sometimes even reaching up to 21 or 51 bangles in a set. Chudas are significant cultural symbols in Indian weddings, especially in Punjabi and Sikh traditions. The bride traditionally wears them for a specific period after the wedding, typically ranging from 40 to 52 days, symbolizing her newlywed status. After this period, they are ceremonially removed.
