Very good lens, sharp, OS works fine I would love to have 2.8 over the range but its great for the price. But you must know how to use a lens, if any one expect to use same lens in camera bodies of different make , then better learn basics first.

I have given 5 stars because as a lens, it is superb. It's too sharp at all focal lengths and after using lens like this, one can explore the full potential of a cropped sensor camera like Nikon D5300 (in my case).

Now the cons:
1. No manual over ride for auto focus
2. Focus ring rotates externally. So one has to be careful in hand handling the camera while autofocussing
3. The zoom lens creeps easily (no zoom lock). So if one has to pull out the camera from bag by holding the lens, the zoom...
