A:No,it os nikon mount,u should choose sony mount lense.There are sigma lenses available which can be used in sony.

A:Yes, It works with d5300 perfectly. All over internet it's mentioned, about focus issue. But I didn't face such issue. At f1.4 it's the best, money can offer.
