If I am writing a book on myself, I would want to give every single minute detail about every event because I have felt those moments and I feel they are very important. However, a second person will not be interested to read about these details, as they are not extra-ordinary.
The book, especially the first half, has too many details that are not required to be mentioned. At times, I was even forced to skip paragraphs!

But, it's a must read for people looking for entrepreneurial inspiration...

Very detailed about how he pulled it thro'. Only the last part where Deccan is bought over by V. Mallya is sad. But i think the book is really good. Impressive.

Simply fly is the one of the best autobiography I have ever read. The humble village journey moves to services to agriculture to politics to aviation. Narration is so simple and powerful. any would who completes this book would astonish about the simple middle class man's ambition to run the most expensive aviation business that too with a noble thought to fly a middle class man.

Quite a nice book, but really felt hard while i read about the Deccan Airlines sale to Kingfisher.

A great book with great thoughts which naturally kindles the fire within you to achieve something in life. Moving away from a materialistic life to something which his heart desired is penned down very beautifully by Capt.Gopinath.

I strongly recommend this book. I have completed only half book, but eager to write a review. Sad I am very late. Better late than never! Even if you are not a bookworm, you should try this book. It will be worth reading.
