6 Degrees Game of Blogs Book Review

Bloggers coming from different backgrounds with different ideas and creative sensibilities working together and creating one story that is interesting enough to be read by a huge audience is, I think, definitely a first!! This collaborative book, 6 Degrees Game of Blogs by BlogAdda.com, has three stories, each created by 10 bloggers. I must admit that the title got me interested and I volunteered to review it. We just need six people to connect to anyone else on earth through personal network...

A unique reading experience

When I was participating in the game of blogs activity by Blogadda.com, little did I know that the activity would culminate into such a wonderful book. Sometime back, Blogadda.com had organised the Game of Blogs activity wherein 30 teams with 10 members were to weave a story with five common characters. Each person of the team had to contribute to the story and each team had to publish a blog a day to take the story ahead. After lot of surprises and team efforts, 3 teams emerged winners and t...

Go, Get it!

'Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world.'

The book has three different stories with five characters (that remain same across stories). All the stories are set in Mumbai & Delhi. What we particularly liked about the book is that the language used in the stories is simple and authors (three teams of bloggers across India) have made a great effort to make the stories more engagin...

A nice one time read!

About the Book:

The book is written with the collaboration of 30 Indian Bloggers spread across 3 teams resulting into three unique stories filled with a variety of emotions.

As part of their #CelebrateBlogging initiative, BlogAdda.com, ran the first edition of Game of Blogs in September 2014 where five characters and their descriptions were provided to the bloggers. The objective was to write a fictional story revolving around these characters. Bloggers came together as teams and after thre...

Degree of involvement and more

Like I say to know a book you need to read it. This book as the names suggest is an initiative of BlogAAdda and a team of talented bloggers . The story telling that has been done is superb and you as a reader flow with it .

Idea

Three great stories for the price of one!

This book is the result of the #Celebrateblogging initiative of Blogadda and is a good example of the creative and innovative writing that Indian bloggers are capable of.
The premise of the book is quite interesting. Bloggers were given five characters around which they had to create a unique story in a genre of their choice. They worked in teams and out of the many stories that came up, three got shortlisted and made it to this book.
The three stories are completely different in approach a...

An amazing collaborative effort by Indian Bloggers

I had no idea what to expect when I got this book for review.

6 Degrees Game of Blogs is a set of 3 short stories written by bloggers, and how!! They were split into teams and given a set of characters. They had to come up with one short story per team, so imagine the kind of coordination that would have been needed. The 3 best stories were selected and printed as as book. So basically each story is written by a team of 8 bloggers and it sounds like one voice.
Each story is so cohesive and f...
