In the 1960, the Amato family migrates from Solino in Italy to a working class industrial town in Germany. As Romano and his wife Rosa focus their attention on Solino, their successful Italian restaurant, their two young sons fend for themselves as they acclimate to their new country and pursue their own dreams. The journey of a family in a cultural conflict, and the story of two brothers searching for independence from their parents, and each other.
