The Sony Alpha ILCE-6400L Mirrorless camera offers fast and accurate autofocus to help you capture fleeting moments in exceptional detail. When you need accurate AF, you can display a magnified view of the general area you wish to focus on and then adjust the exact point of focus in the viewfinder or on the LCD screen. The Real-time eye AF function in this Sony camera detects and autofocuses on the eyes of your subjects when you half-press the shutter. Once you set the AF-C, it constantly maintains a stable focus even when part of the face is hidden, the face is lit from the back or when the subject is facing downwards.
The peaking function in this camera colour-highlights the most sharply focused section of the entire image area when you are using manual focus. Even when you’re tracking a fast-moving subject, this camera's automatic subject motion tracker makes use of a newly developed subject recognition algorithm that draws on colour, pattern (brightness), subject distance (depth) and face/eye information to recognise and hold onto your subject. The maximum standard ISO sensitivity has been increased to ISO 32000 in this camera (expanded to ISO 102400 for stills). You can enjoy improved imaging algorithms, detail reproduction technology, and area-division noise reduction for more realistic textures and more lifelike colours.
The APS-C size, 24.2-megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor in this camera provides a wide sensitivity range and superior low-noise performance.
You can capture all kinds of action with continuous shooting at up to 11 fps (with after view), or 8 fps (with silent shutter), and 8fps (for live view).
This Sony camera enables 4K movie recording in 35 mm format with full pixel readout. The images you shoot will have realistic depth.
Apart from the existing 3:2 and 16:9 aspect (width-to-height) ratios, the 1:1 aspect ratio used by social media platforms is now given as an added option. You don’t have to look for editing apps to crop or trim the images that you’ve clicked.
You can record slow motion (up to 5x) and quick motion (up to 60x) in this camera in high-quality Full HD. Post-processing is not required to view low-motion and quick-motion footage.
