I would recommend buying the black one over the white one, none the less, this pendrive looks a class apart from the rest.
The only down side is that despite being usb 3.0, the write speed is quite low (i tried it on my usb 3.0 port).
Buy it if you like a bit of style and don't really care about the low transfer speeds!

I bought a sony USM16GU/W 16 gb pen drive about 2 month ago and it is working properly at good speed,looking great.equipment delivery is good ...i got it within 8 days.

this pen drive is not the best but its good
look wise its great but the red light makes it look like some cheap china made product, the body is not hard
speed is decent on usb 2 and good on usb 3

Received (in Hyderabad) within 2 days of placing the order, as expected. I have USB 2 in my lappy and the speeds found are 14mbps write and 24mbps read speed. Sony is a good name in electronic and u can trust it here too. But I am doubtful about the white part's life where 'Sony' is written. Its a push back part and has a spring push back mechanism like in pen. Currently, its working properly and I hope it works the same way alwayz. Otherwys a very good product.

Awesome read speed for a usb 3.0 pen drive of this storage at this price tag. Read speeds max at 80MBps(and about 30MBps in burst mode) and write speed averages at 10MBps(8MBps burst mode, which is not at all bad), in USB 3.0 mode. speed Good for installing operating systems on portable basis (i use this with ubuntu installed, no noticable lags so far, even though multitasks with 2 ides , doc viewer and internet browser :D )

I am already using this product for about 3 months......this product is very good,Speed is pretty good,looks is also good.It's led blinking makes it very special.
Although it's speed is not even close as it mentioned.As per i got its write speed is about average 40 Mbps where as reading speed is 80 Mbps. But.But it is much better than other USB-3 product like Kingston , HP,

As expected from Sony....Works Pretty good on my Gigabyte motherboard(USB 3.0)
and the LED Indicators adds additional beauty ......Light

But u have to be careful ...while removing the pen drive....due to the spring system
