This is one of the finest books in my collection of Probability books..! This book clearly explains the concepts of stochastic probability in detail, thought the print quality can be little better...!

This book will be your stepping stone in you life if you are one among the serious professionals in Mathematical Research, Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Econometric/Mathematical Modelling etc.

We need the errata page - as their are some minor errors in this book and they need some explanations...

Fantastic resource for practitioners who need to find known results and/or develop new ones by applying clear probabilistic thinking to new problems.Although to learn the material and frameworks for the first time 'Feller' is better. But once out in the real world doing applied stochastic modeling fro a while, this book of Ross's becomes extremely valuable! It has many results in it that are difficult to find elsewhere and that are pretty easy to locate here. Moreover, the proofs are explaine...

We are using this book for the graduate course in probability. Sheldon Ross explains the concepts in a manner which is easily understandable. He also provides a lot of intuitions too. The exercise problems are very good help you develop the concepts better.

I recommend this book for a course on stochastic processes or even for self study for stochastic processes.
