Killer lens!
This is a must buy if you want to take good portraits from a distance. The lens is a bit costly in India, however, once you buy this, you can sell your stock 18-55mm lens which must have come bundled with your camera.
The lens has a pretty quick autofocus motor and can focus far off items pretty well with accurate interpretation of depth. You can read all the reviews of this lens across the web and can also see sample shots before buying.
