Product is good and core features works pretty well, but I m getting upload speed much slower via data card with this router as compared to data card used directly on laptop.

Works as expected

Happy so far with the quality of the product. I can access wifi even in remote areas in my 2bhk flat. It does heat up a bit on higher side. But that does not impact its function. I have not used 4G dongle yet so cant comment on that.

Light weight - software & Hardware

No bulky software that malfunctions. Has very light software without any frills and runs reliably. The Airtel 4G ZTE MF825A Dongle is fantastically supported. No bulky unused software options. Very good performance. Need to update the firmware to latest after purchase to extend the dongle support.

Inferior by design and configurable options

I failed to do much research before buying this Tenda product. Compare it to TPLink TL-MR3420 and the inferiority of this device is obvious. I have used this handicap router for 2 months and here are my genuine observations:
Hardware:
1) No Power button on device.
2) Uses a 12V / 1Amp adapter and device heats up. Kill-a-watt shows near 9W+ usage. Energy Hog alert.

Software:
3) Wireless Router only mode : No config to specify PPPOE service name. Poorly coded logic that does not reconnect a...
