Thadam / தடம்  (Tamil, Paperback, C. Barani Raj)

"Thadam" is a science fiction story which revolves around the character "Ravi Kiran" a scientist. He is on a mission which was proposed by the country government. But he faces lot of distraction and problems before completing the mission. The story is about how he faced the problems and will he successfully completed the mission on time and why the problems are coming. An animal's footprints can be used to determine whether it has visited or passed through a particular place. Wherever man has not set his foot, other creatures are crawling in the bosom of nature. All the trees in those places are reaching up to the sky. Man is also an animal but the tracks he leaves are not his footprints, remains of the things he used. He is gradually diminishing the life of the earth and the life of other creatures with those remains. It is the “footprint” of man on nature……..as “stains”….
