The Ending of Time (English, Paperback, Krishnamurti)
The Ending of Time brings you the conversation between the famous philosopher, Jiddu Krishnamurti and the renowned physicist, Dr. David Bohm.
Summary of the Book
The dialogue between a great spiritual teacher and a leading physicist collected in this book delves into the questions on humanity. The two great minds examine if humanity has taken a wrong turn, which has led to widespread destruction and conflict. J. K. suggests that the wrong turn lies in our failure to confront what we actually are and our necessity to enforce certain ideas as a substitute for a deceptive objective of what we must become. He sees the nature of man's thought as self-centered, chaotic and finally vicious, and upholds the idea that the only way to free ourselves from such destruction is through insight that penetrates deeper than the normal perceptions. This insight, as perceived from the dialogue, is achieved only by a mind that is quiet, free of thought, and capable of moment-by-moment consciousness.
