About Khaled Hosseini

Khaled Hosseini is an Afghan-born American novelist known for A Thousand Splendid Suns and And the Mountains Echoed.

Hosseini completed his M.D. at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. He was a practicing physician until after the publication and success of his first novel.
