  • Description

The New Life is a novel written by the Turkish author, Orhan Pamuk.

    Summary of the Book

This title poignantly narrates the story of a young engineering student in Istanbul who finds a “new life” in the pages of a book that goes by the same name. He is influenced to the point of going on a quest for the same kind of life. There are two types of people – those who are consumed by the book in the same way as the student and those who want to destroy the book for the kind of effect it is having on its readers. Discover how Pamuk, the master storyteller weaves the story about the mysterious book and its obsessed followers.
