Tintin in the Congo

I ordered this book 14th oct and got it on 18th oct.I was impressed with Flipkarts services.The book is very well packed by Flipkart.
I had all the tintin books years ago but invariably lost all of them due to my generous nature of lending these books out.Guess Flipkart has given me a chance to restart my collections again.

Good book with good quality paper and hardbound with the best pricing I have seen.

Congo Rocks

I purchased the Paperback version of the book and the story though read many times before, came prominent once again in front of my eyes.

Firstly Thanks to Super Delivery by FK.

This particular book is not readily available in book stalls. Not Sure why such a scarcity of “Tintin in Congo” all around? Does it sells more than usual? May be because the story is just awesome. I like it very much. Even my daughter likes it ?

Waited more than a decade for this to be available anywhere!

After more than 10 years of looking for it in local book stores (even the famous 'College Street' book market of Kolkata could not cough it up) and the book fair every year (only the Bengali edition by Ananda Publishers was available), I finally got my hands on the English version here.

I'll one up Subhodeep Bose's review here. There is also a foreword by the English translators Leslie Lonsdale-Cooper and Michael Turner that addresses the book's origin and the controversy surrounding it.
