Best Portable Router Companion for Tata photon+ Dongle

I wanted a WiFi router companion for my existing Tata Photon+ (non 3G) dongle.
This product is ideal for that.

Configuration was extremely easy. (I did not even have to up-pack the accompanying CD). For configuring popular devices (e.g. Photon+), it is a simple two step procedure - I just had to select the country and operator/device.

TP-Link also supports other 3G, 4G and 2.5G (EVDO, Reliance, Tata-Docomo, etc) USB modems (dongles) as well.
[Note: D-Link DWR-131 3G Pocket Router does not ...

Excellent Product and missing information of product version

First things first, the product was delivery within the expected delivery date and with good bubble wrap. Thanks to Flipkart.
The product is very good and with my Huawei 3G USB modems E303C (again bought on Flipkart) and Aircel connection, it worked perfectly right out of the box. No configuration required. It works like a charm.

Lack of information:
1. The product is available in two versions v1 and v2 and there was no information on flipkart website about the version of the product.

Ultimate Product having good quality signal

I ordered TP-Link TL-MR3040 portable Battery powered 3g Wireless N Router after long inquiries and comparing of different quality routers and price of various online resellers but Flip cart is always best for the supply(Thanks Flip Cart), and less price than others I got the product in a good packing after opening it I just put my reliance 3g dongle in the USB hub and paired it to my I phone by the given PIN it is connected.
It is giving me the ultimate speed 15 MB app just in 10...

as i was useing reliance pro 3 ZTE-AC2791 as it was 3G connection newly introduced by reliance i want to use wifi so i took it but when i check the compatibility in the tp link website i was no where mentioned but as my friend said that it will be supporting so i took it bit a tension and i got delivered by flipkart in very good condition and i have cofiguared my router with this reliance pro 3 now it works like charm im getting same speed in the router also i have taken a good decison in my ...

Good Overall.

This is a good product. When one is using it with a 3G/4G dongle, make sure the signal of the dongle is good(like in cities, not remote location), else the connectivity over wifi becomes really poor, even it doesn't connect.
Really good strength for the 2.5 hrs battery life of the router.

BSNL AC 8700

I am using this router TP-LINK TL-3040 FOR BSNL AC 8700 Dongle please remember only Version 1 is working properly you have to upload the bin file from their official website. But Version 2 is only for the latest models this will not support this models however It has mention on their official website about the compatible list that AC 8700 will support but It has a problem. great product

This is an excellent product if any one who travels most or looking for internet out of home.
I use with tata photon plus it detected the modem and I didn't had to download firmware. TP-LINK site has support for types of modem.

Battery works good (around 4 hrs)

its feature is quit similar to lava w150 router but in terms of its size lava w150 is compact and small. lava w150 is cheaper than this product For EVDO, settings have to be configured manually under 3G option. Any APN name may be given, User name and Password has to be keyed in and then apply the settings. Do not forget to update firmware before applying these settings.
