TP-LINK TL-WDR3600 N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router

I been using this product for the past 6 months now . so i believe i can give a honest review abt the same,
snapdeal delivery was fast and the router was in good condition . setting up was easy as its more like a plug and play device if not needing heavy configurations.,

Range is supern upto 40 metres without obstructions and upto 25 metres with walls and disturbances.( 2,4 GHZ),
timely firmware upgrades are provided by the manufacturer and bug fixes too..
open firmware from dd-wrt works...

I purchased the router three months back. This, I think is the most stable one in its range. It was very easy to install unlike the BSNL ones where you need to be a technical guy. Great Bandwidth and provides smooth video streaming while video conferencing. The look is very professional. Suggests this purchase where there is huge bandwidth requirements.

I was not very sure of the TP-Link brand. But after noticing that this is the only brand that offers two USB ports on the router along with dual band wireless, I pulled the trigger. I was still uneasy about my decision. So after buying this router, I went on to do some more research and found out that this router is very well reviewed throughout the world.

TP Link's equivalent of the Netgear's N600 model which is far pricier and not worth the money! Has good range with detachable antenna which means that if you are not satisfied with the range you could replace it with high gain antenna! Also there are two USB ports. There are so many cool features that its gonna take me time to learn to use them!

I got it BEFORE any shopping site lists, BEFORE 4 MONTHS itself...@ very low price nearly 40% less, but I has asked FK when it will be available they said the cannot say ETA

For its price, this router comes with two USB ports, enabling you to run a NAS and network printer at the same time. If only the range was better (the antennas are 3dbi and barely cover two rooms in N mode...and one room in N 5 gigahertz).

The interface is complicated though, especially the file servers, which are utterly obtuse. Best of luck setting up anything more than a public full disk share. Still, performance wise I have no complaints.

A word to the wise, though Wireless AC routers...

Not the best router in the world. But the dual band is something which is nice feature if you wanna play games on LAN and the router is quick and easy to configure.

The Range is something that bothers me a lot. I have fairly big house and it doesn't cover half of it
