Although there are many 500GB external hard drives available at a cheaper price, but they surely cant beat this one on build quality. The design is amazing and the rubber grip is super handy. Another thing that's good about this product is that is has great shock protection; So you don't loose all your data if you happen to drop it accidentally.

Nice Product
Good product from Transcend. I love it. But the only con is, it has two usb cables that need to be inserted to the computer. Even it works fine with one USB. Its been strictly instructed to use both the USBs for power purpose of the Hard Disk.

first of all it is very easy to use....
the look of is also very nice
the packaging is very very good if you want to keep the drive in the box.
the backup provided in the drive is very little but i find it useless.
Buy it because it is good, the transfer speed is very very good.

goods: good hard disk nicely packed, low noice
bads: having port with two USB inputs. it is for more power need. So cant connect it on my tv with only one USB 4 more time....though it works with 1 usb also for short duration

Flipkart service is awesome. I got defected piece at first but flipkart replaced it without asking a single question..
Coming to the product now I am using this product for 6 months now.
It has a great connectivity. Copying files are very fast.It is shockproof and waterproof.

PROS - The data transfer rate is very good. A 700 MB movie gets copied in 30 seconds. Plus, the Storejet Elite software comes handy in managing this drive.
Works properly when connected to just one USB port, although in some cases I have noticed it requires both.
Better than most other brands in its price range.
CONS - Looks a bit bulky, due to the silicone shell.
