About the Author
Warren E Stewart, R. Byron Bird, and Edwin N. Lightfoot are the joint authors of the book. All three of them are Professors Emeritus in the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Stewart is currently working on a book on computer-aided reaction modeling. Bird is the recipient of the National Medal of Science in 1987. He has written a number of books which include Molecular Theory of Gases and Liquids and Dynamics of Polymeric Liquids. Edwin N. Lightfoot was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 1979 and received the National Medal of Science in 2004.
