Adam Gilchrist was born in 1971 in Bellingen, New South Wales. An outstanding wicketkeeper-batsman, he made his first-class debut for New South Wales in 1993. His first One Day international was against South Africa in 1996, and his first Test for Australia was against Pakistan in 1999. Until his retirement from international cricket in early 2008, he had played 96 consecutive Test matches for Australia.

A must read for Gilly's fans..

The much awaited book! I have been waiting to read this one ever since its release as without no doubt Adam Gilchrist is my all time favourite sportsperson(am not saying just cricketer but a favourite among all the sports players).
Firstly I should thank my friend for giving me a surprise when she had bought two copies of this book (one for herself of course), a surprise I cherish! It was hard to find the book in India as some of the statements were interpreted & the media took it completely ...
