About Balakumaran

Balakumaran was born in Tamil Nadu, India. He is a famous Tamil writer and novelist whose works have been widely read and critically acclaimed. He has written more than 150 novels and 100 short stories. Balakumaran has been the screenplay writer and dialogue writer for about 14 Tamil movies. He is the recipient of many awards including Kalaimaamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu, State Award as the Best dialogue writer for a superhit movie Kaadalan among many others.
