Body

On folding the Velbon DF-40 tripod, it measures a length of 540 mm, making it all the more convenient to carry, especially during long distance, outdoor shoots. Furthermore, this tripod comes with a maximum operating height of 1440 mm and can also be elevated to a mid-level of up to 1300 mm, providing enhanced flexibility for framing compositions from different angles. To shoot images from the lowest possible angle, you could minimize the height of the trivet to a minimum operating height level of up to 510 mm.

The sturdy three legged section of the Velbon DF-40 camera trivet provides a secure support to the mounted equipment. In addition to this, the leg tips of this trivet are fused with rubber which easily grip onto even the rough and slippery terrains. This feature facilitates a safe and easy-mount of both the trivet and the equipment. The diameter of the first upper leg is 20 mm. Besides all these advantages, the tripod also comes with an ergonomic pan handle for simple and effortless panning while shooting.  

The Velbon DF-40 is embedded with a 2-way PH-446 Pan head which makes provision for a smooth and easy panning while shooting.
