The only concern is that the scale is slightly small ad an adult's feet just about fit in the scale. A slightly larger area will be more comfortable. Also, the scale gives a slight creaking sound everytime someone stands on it, which has never happened on my precious scale. This just points to a slightly lower build quality than needed.
