Q:should i remove the lamination layer i had applied when i bought the laptop before applying the vinyl , how should i apply the skin (1) by cutting out the msi logo part (2) or apply it directly ?
A:Yes,I would personally recommend to remove the lamination layer for better grip to your laptop surface.Also if you try to cut the logo from the skin there is possibility of decal tearing from centre

Q:My laptop screen (diagonal ) is 15.6 inch , The topside or where i will put the cover is approx 18 inch , So will it fit ?
A:You can start pasting the Cover from the bottom of the Laptop display. So paste the cover from bottom to top. Also this cover is bigger than 15.6", use a scissor and cut off the extra length.

Q:how to stick it?
A:peel off the sticker little by little while continuously sticking it on Ur laptop and smoothen it out well with your thumb fingers and make sure it does not form air bubbles.
